Type MR3-2,  faraday rotator glass with higher Verdet constant -0.33 min/Oe-cm at 632.8nm or -96rad/T*m at 632.8 nm 

Type MR4,  faraday rotator glass with highest Verdet constant -0.38 min/Oe-cm at 632.8nm or -110 rad/T*m at 632.8 nm

* Diamagnetic Faraday Rotator Glass and Faraday Rotator Elements 
Type MR1 with very important properties, its higher Verdet constant 0.072~0.092 min/Oe*cm at 632.8nm,it's nearly independent of temperature from -40~+85 with better thermal stability,high sensitive and steady which are used for magneto-optical device,instrumentsand,magneto-optical sensor and Magneto-Optical Current Transducer (MOCT), etc. 


Owning sole intellectual property and Know-How of type MR3-2 and MR4 Faraday Rotator Glass on component, melting, casting,fine-annealing,the glass are provided with very higher Verdet constant, damage threshold, transparency properties, excellent homogeneity, extinction ratio and wide wavelength range with lower nonlinear refractive index than other glasses alike on the market.

 
Faraday Rotator Glass is widely used especially in high-power faraday rotator and optical isolator with large aperture, circulators, switches,polarimeters, magneto-optic sensors,high-power laser systems and other wanted Faraday Effect,etc. Obviously the most important elements in a Faraday Rotator and Optical Isolator are the Faraday Rotator Rods which made of Magneto Optic Glass 

The characteristics that one looks for in a Faraday Rotator Optics, include a high Verdet constant,low absorption coefficient,low non-linear refractive index and high damage threshold. Also,to prevent self-focusing and other thermal related effects,the optics should be as short as possible.The two most commonly used materials for the wavelength 400-1600 nm range are terbium doped borosillicate glass (Tb glass) and terbium gallium garnet crystal (TGG),but TGG crystal can't grow large size and too expensive.
In general,most of Faraday Rotator Elements are produced by type MR3-2 glass considering the cost.
